Today we're going to teach you what to look for in the
results your advertising gets to determine if you've got a
winner on you're hands, and how to improve it if you don't.

Now it's time to learn what to look for in the results
your advertising gets to determine if you've got a winner
on you're hands, and how to improve it if you don't.

The first thing you'll want to look at is how many people
click your ad.

This is an important number.

Not because it tells you how successful your ad is, but
because it will help you determine you're conversion
rate--or how many of you're visitors you've converted
into sales.

You do want to know, don't you?

Most newbies will only look at how many hits an ad
produces to determine whether it's a success or not.

This is a huge mistake!

If you do this you may end up wasting your money by
running an ad that isn't making you any money at all.
Because you've got to look at the end result to
determine an ads effectiveness... you've got to look
at how much money it's making you in the long run.

If you're spending more to place the ad than you're
making from it, you need to drop it and improve it
before you invest more money rolling it out.

So let's go back to that conversion rate.

This is the real measure of your advertising's
effectiveness.

To find the conversion rate for an ad, you take the
number of sales it generated and divide that by the
number of unique hits.

So let's say you brought in 200 visitors and made 4 sales.

That means your conversion rate was 2% which is pretty
good.

Once you've established a conversion rate for a certain
ad, then you'll be able to tell how much money you can
spend placing that ad to make a profit.

Because you'll know how much each visitors is worth to
you.

For example: If you've got a $100 product and you're
getting a 2% conversion to sales, then you can afford to
spend $2 on each visitor and still break even.

Now that you know how to determine if your ad was
successful, let's talk about how to use you're tracking
results to improve your ad if it didn't work.

This information is worth it's weight in gold so stick
